Yea, I knew that grammar knocking was just plain jealousy and bitterness, but to be fair it’s coming from the same group that just hates LSU. I think they can’t deal with LSU overtaking the schools they have loved being knocked back some.

Edited to take out some not nice things I said.

Oh, there is quite the group of people who hate LSU and I have absolutely no doubt it is because they can not stand to see LSU suddenly be the top SEC program. Bama and UGA fans are not handling it well, at all. Plus, some of the people who are leading this charge are people who are more loyal to coaches than teams and they actually speak to Suzanne on a regular basis so they root for her team and they also believe every single word she says about the other coaches. The way she tells it, LSU can't win a title as long as DD is coaching because she has been holding down this team and will continue to do so. She doesn't know how to win, etc. The same could have been said for Suzanne until she finally did win. Maybe DD will never win a title but she took this program to the top, just hasn't managed to hit on the night it counted. Plus, she has been competing with far less flashy recruiting classes against the likes of UCLA, UF and OU who pull in World and Olympic team members regularly.

Florida hates LSU a lot right now, LSU has finished just ahead of them the last two years at nationals, LSU has won the last 4 regular season meets vs them as well. Its be fun to face off at the SEC championships. It literally should be only between LSU and Florida, but if people from both squads fall, Bama definitely is in the picture.

I think the most hated team in the country currently is Utah. They are just very arrogant, plus no one likes Skinner. Sure she is a phenomenal gymnast but her attitude and demeanor are awful.

I don't hate OU, I admire their work ethic and attention to detail, plus they aknowledge when other teams are successful. Coach Kindler has the most respect for LSU as the program it is.

I do hate UCLA though, like a lot. Anyone who has been around their program can tell you they believe they are entitled to essentially everything. Kinda like UCLA is on a different level compared to everyone else and they expect to be treated so. Its really a major rub off. I do like many of their gymnasts, I'm friends with many of them, I just don't like the culture val has created.

It is a testament to how good the LSU program has become that they have won 19 of their last 20 regular season SEC matchups with Florida and BAMA being so close and Auburn & Georgia always challenging opponents. The program on the rise seems to be Kentucky and they might become a player in the next few years. Arkansas and Missouri have solid programs which can compete with most teams other than the real elites.

LSU has a distinct advantage now with the training center and huge spectacle the home meets have become. Are there any plans for other schools to construct similar facilities? Seems only a matter of time for them to join the arms race. Do any other elite programs have anything similar to LSU's training center?

I haven’t noticed any Utah hate, other than with Skinner. I wish she wouldnt jump around like she just secured a championship after every single routine. In that vein, I also don’t care for the “Auburn salute”. They seem more excited to do the salute than the routine itself.

Floymnastics has started to rate and rank the level 10 gymnasts so far this year and here is what I know about our LSU commits.

Kai Rivers is ranked #2 in the country in all around, #4 on vault, #2 on floor, #5 on bars.

Bailey Ferrer is ranked #6 in the all around, #3 on floor and #7 on vault.

haleigh bryant is ranked #3 in the all around, #2 on beam, #3 on floor, #5 on vault.

Level 10 ranks are broke down by different class years. This hasn't been posted yet but should be in the future. It will obviously be different from week to week as each person competes

My question about UCLA is that they have 24 girls listed on there roster. Scholorship limit is 12 for Womens Gymnastics. We have 17, I assume with 5 walk on's. Do they really have 12 walkon's?? Man that's a lot of girls on there own dime.

Their AD encourages the team to take as many walk-ons as possible for Title IX numbers.

I am pretty sure its just Bryant. I don't think Kai qualified or whatever.

Excited to see her compete though, LSU is really lucky to have her committed, she does not have many weak points on any events, super clean too. Everest has produced some phenomenal athletes, one of Bryants teammates is a future prospect on LSU's radar.

I remember when it first filtered out that Bryant committed to us, I had no clue who she was. So young, so I thought Jay just saw her potential. That man is an amazing recruiter! And yes Everest is a great gym, ptc with bars. Sort of like IGI.

Word on the street is UCLA is making a hard run at Lizzy

Curious how many more people they could possibly process/ or makes a walk on for next year.

Now that’s just greedy ;)

I guess they are losing PPL next year, but that’s the only significant senior I think? It feels like she should be in her 30s she’s been on their roster for freaking ever

They will have 3 incoming freshman with 3 seniors on roster now, plus they are suppose to add another transfer

Its crazy how many people they have.

PPL will be a major loss for them for sure

Like UCLA needs Lizzy since they are absolutely stacked on beam and floor now. I know her old teammate Brielle is at UCLA now, and she’s best friends with Kate. Has she visited UCLA yet? I know she’s visited OU before she recently visited here. I wonder if UCLA wants her to just keep her away from OU or LSU. Is that a thing in gymnastics like it can be football?

She's been texting a few people on UCLA's team as of late but I am not 100% sure if she has already visited. I know UCLA's fans are already trying to reach out to her

She enjoyed her OU trip. I still would like to think LSU in a good place considering she already had a good relationship with our coaches prior to her attending college, plus she is really good friends with many of the people on our team. Unless she is still not sure due to the bad blood that came after. Our staff was pretty pissed she led us on and then decided not to come here last second because she was unsure of what she wanted to do. Luckily we had Sarah Finnegan.

I do know she really likes LSU OU and UCLA

I don’t even see how they would have a scholarship available for her. I mean they haven’t even signed freaking Norah yet. Ugh, my hatred for UCLA grows by the minute. Unless they could talk Lizzy into walking on, or would they take someone else’s scholarship away? Can people donate scholarships? Is that a thing? I know we should definitely have an open scholarship with 2 scholarship seniors leaving. I heard OU had an open scholarship as well.
