I feel like McKenna might just be using that as a timer and either still training the 1/2 or planning to add it later. I remember her saying she was rushed learning the vault and didn't go through the progressions like they wanted. Just a thought. Also, still very interesting LSU is being so conservative with showing video this year.

Front pike is just a starting point, she is still working on the vault she was doing last year. Funny y’all mention this, if you have Instagram, go look at McKenna Kelley’s story....

Yea it’s weird they are more selective this year with displaying video. The initial plan was suppose to be like last year with the FB live, not sure what happened there. This team is better than last years. The sophomores are going to surprise a lot of people this year. There have been changes made for the better, with upgrades to routines. There are still being changes made to beam choreography and skills.

Exciting part is Ferrer comes in the week before gym 101

she is suppose to arrive that weekend before the 101 event. The girls usually do an inter squad on that Sunday before hand to compete for a spot in that meet.

I am not 100% sure if she is to compete but if she is there before the event, I see no reason why not. She should be able to on vault and bars at least.

Kiya Johnson, Kai Rivers, and Caitlin Smith

Johnson was suppose to be 2020 grad but looks like the plan for her is to come in a year early. Adding Kai and Kiya will give LSU two huge all around threats. Losing Finnegan is a major loss. Cannamela and Priessman have practically been one event gymnasts mostly at LSU. We will prob be upgrading on vaults. It will be interesting if we want Kai or Kiya to ever compete the DTY, if not the minimum will be 1 1/2s.

We won’t know about McKenna until a later date!

Leanne Wong seems very Florida right now. Well from the stuff I've heard...

JaFree Scott likes LSU a lot, Alabama and Denver have come on for her lately.


I saw a pic this weekend of Florida's 2019 class. It was sickening to see a class with Riley McCusker and Morgan Hurd in it. Its insane.

Honestly though, I am not convinced Morgan ends up in college, especially if she makes the olympic team with the endorsement opportunities.
