Btw the rumors of Chloe Widner reopening her recruitment ended being true, but she is heading to Stanford. She announced earlier today

Very good gymnast. Curious to see how Stanford does pretty soon, there is a serious amount of talent on that team. Although they did lose Price

Not sure why LSU, I know other schools who do the same
A lot of times they send kids stuff for camps and such so they can come down and camp at LSU
At camps it gives the coaches ideas of who to keep an eye on throughout their development over the years.
That girl in particle is a sensation that people have been in the know for a bit.
UCLA was sending Konnor McClain stuff at 5 years old

That is not ok in any circumstance. That's a baby for crying out loud. So when coaches are doing this, are they trying to recruit the parents? Let's be real here, because there is no way you are recruiting a 5 year old or 9 year old.

You are not allowed to send recruiting stuff that early
Only thing the NCAA allows is information on the school (non athletic information), questionnaires, and stuff on camps

That’s my guess too. She’s a Parkette, loves Christina, and maybe CD made sure she was sent camp info. She just finished level 6...I would think you wouldn’t recruit anyone below level 10. Maybe if a 9 is exceptional on a certain event but even then...

When I chatted with her not long ago, she said she would probably decide at some point in the spring but getting her for two more years would help tremendously.
She is an all American on floor and potentially could dramatically help us on vault.
Not sure if people knew but McKenna was pushing that beam lineup last fall. They were truly expecting to see McKenna on 2/3 events last season.
Losing Finnegan and Priessman will hurt a lot but getting her back and adding Kai and potentially Kiya Johnson could be a big help for the 2020 season

Continuing to look at LSU’s potential 2019 lineups, next up in Beam. I’ve struggled with writing this post, because how do you possibly replace Erin and Myia, so… I’ve decided we don’t. What if we use wigs and those little glasses with a moustache and funny nose and tell everyone they’re new transfer students. It’ll totally work – right?!?
Ok, all kidding aside, I’m seriously at a loss. Both are HUGE voids to fill – is there anyone else in the wings that has potential to go 9.9? Julianna has experience and even went 9.85 at Super Six as a Freshman, so she’s an option. Other than a handful of appearances/exhibitions by Lexie and Ashlyn, I don’t think we’ve seen anyone else compete. Bridget and Sami are going to be people with the potential to break this lineup as well.
Here’s my lineup:
McKenna (I’m going to lead off with McKenna taking advantage of her confidence and her ability to be an overall bad arse)
Lexie (going Lexie here just because I want to see her in more events)
Kennedi
Christina
Reagan
Sarah
Left the end of the lineup alone because it was really hitting on all cylinders at the end of last year, even though Reagan’s dismount scares the bejeezus out of me.
Thoughts?
