He has several different pairs of colorful britches!

Super nice though... I met him at a US Classic 10 yrs ago, and he has always remembered me and been very friendly. Probably the only gump I actually like :)

Wow,I never would have thought that for him. I wonder if Sarah Patterson will step back in as a volunteer like Suzanne did at Georgia. Bama has a pretty good recruiting class coming this fall. Emily Gaskins is a strong gymnast and then there is Shallon Olsen committed also. This should be interesting.

Did yall see that a 12 year old, Level 9 gymnast committed to Boise State LOL

Zoe Simmons and a couple other British athletes are suppose to head the NCAA route.

Just getting out of hand. Gymnastics needs to have a serious conversation about rcruiting too young like softball is starting to. These girls are way too young to make a decision at 12, 13, 14, or even 15

I think all NCAA sports should make it no contact until a athletes junior year.

I can sorta understand scouting for gymnastics at a younger age because kids are at their peaks a lot around 14-16, so you can see their capabilities but I do think its absurd to ask kids who are 12 or 13 where they want to attend college. So much happens in this sport between injuries too.

I think that was debunked, thank goodness.

Coaches were at Cincinnati gymnastics academy I heard this past week. They have international elites, many from England come and train there all the time.

Not sure who we were looking at. I know we are interested in a few international elites, not sure which one from England

Has Tinkler gone pro? Her tumbling is phenomenal! The more realistic ones that come to mind are Kinsella and Stanhope

I just saw that Peng Peng Lee got the Honda Award for 2018 UCLA. Maybe next year will be Sarah's year.

How is teh proces initiated for these gymnasts to commit when they are under 16?

What are the current rules? Can the coaches initiate contacts with the gymnast? If not, can they respond if the gymnast contacts the coach first?

What is the rule on in person meetings? Is it like other sports not allowed until junior year?

What about when they attend summer camp? what is permissible?

She only got it because UCLA won the National title and she is a senior for the 3rd time or something. Otherwise it was going to Nichols, as it should have. Nichols was just as good, perfect even, but did it on 4 events. If PPL was competing on floor/vault then she wouldn't have even been nominated.

Sarah could win next year but it will be hard to compete against Nichols. Sarah would have to do something crazy like win AA at Nationals or lead LSU to the National title. Maggie is just THAT good.

Finnegan has to upgrade on vault to have a chance IMO

The other 3 events she is as good as anyone in the country. That's kinda the hole for her

We are suppose to see some kids upgrade for next year. It'll be interesting to watch. Cannamela needs to stick with the full. It's almost a stick every time now

Do most of the girls stay for the summer and take courses so they can work on skills at LSU or do they go to their gyms at home? I know some help with camps each year but new skills must be worked on frequently to be ready for January.

Yes, they'll go home for a few weeks and return for classes and camps

People keep posting on Twitter about rumors of Lizzy coming to LSU. Is this just hearsay and speculation, or could there be legs to this?

Me and Liz actually snapchat sometimes but I've never reached and directly asked her lol

But from what I've been told its been between LSU and OU. A couple of big 10 teams are in the mix, Michigan is one of them. UCLA supposedly had interest but I doubt they have any room financially.

She currently texts and talks with a lot of people on the team.

She has visited LSU this season already and has been to OU and a couple other schools

I hope it’s true! LSU definitely needs her more than the other teams in my opinion.

I think she would be a major asset for us on beam and floor. LSU has some options on beam just not very experienced. Sami Durante is actually pretty good on beam, as well as dean. Some of them will see more roles, Sami just focused on bars this past season, she had a minor surgery and dealt with some injuries.

Liz isn't horrible on vault, bars needs some work but LSU is pretty deep there.

LSU has several commits at JOs this weekend... Haleigh Bryant competing right now!

Bryant - 1st vault, 2nd floor, 3rd AA Senior A
Also:

Arenas
Rivers
Ferrer
D’Antonio

Anyone else?
