Also with his brother on the team it wouldn’t be a surprise if they’ve talked some about scheme and House.

He’s going to be good, but if he’s getting significant playing time, we are in trouble.

He's small right now but he's gonna be very good imo. Reminds me of Werner

He may see the field year 2. He will play special teams most likely. He is too small right now to start at LB.

He's going to play at 220 this fall at least. They're going to have him in the nutrition program and the weight room for the next 8 1/2 months before he's going to play a game.

He'll be fine. The problem is we're only looking at five scholarship linebackers right now. Need 2-3 more and right now there's nothing much in the portal.

Damn, this kid has gone from for sure redshirt candidate to freshmen contributor in one weekend and I’m not sure that’s fair to him

If he can get his weight up in the offseason, I don’t see an issue with him getting meaningful PT

Even as great as Harold Perkins is, you see how hard it is to play linebacker as a true freshman.

A&M showed us that

I think it will be more about knowing the playbook. He’s gonna give you the better option in sub packages if he’s comfortable with the scheme.

In base packages Penn will be your thumper and Perk your Will.

Are you guys dumb? Even Perkins had tons of growing pains his freshman year. He doesn't even know how to play LB yet he just uses athleticism and instincts. Are you seriously going to ask this question?

Even if Weeks comes in and he turns out to be who we want him to be he still going to have growing pains. LSU is in a position where that shouldn't be the case in any position on the team right now. You always need experience ahead of someone to mature. If you're relying on true freshman you in trouble. Plain and simple. All our great freshman this year had some rough patches to go through.

LSU is bidding a playoff spot next year they don't have time for growing pains with a freshman. Sometimes I wonder about this board's football IQ jesus.

WAY too high of expectations. Our D is likely going to be real bad. REAL bad.

And we're still lacking in the RB department with a HC/OC who want to run first.

It will not be if we get another LB, corner, and DL from the portal. We will be better than last year. We just need depth.

How's our defense going to be REAL bad? You got Perkins one of the best defensive players in the country and Mason Smith who should be one of the top DTs in SEC. You have a lot of talent in the secondary next year. LSU's defense looked much worse last year at this time but still yet they were pretty good this year and we were on the cusp of a playoff spot.

Yeah, that makes no sense. Expectations are not too high. The offense should be improved. Defense already has more depth with talent. Everyone on the team is 1+ year with BK and House. Does not compute.

They just need to get a little more depth in the portal and we riding.
