Reminder of 2005 Recruiting Class

First this happened
Dec 26 2004
and this was result for class of 2005
Geaux 247 Class of 2005
Only one LB Darry Beckwith not Kendell.
We need to find another Beckwith this year.
I think this year's 2017 class is a better #6 or #7 class compared to 2005 with all the speculation of who we will finish up with after change in coaching staff.

Yep. That was a rough class. Perilloux 'saved' it, but as you know he didnt work out

Yes, no experienced players or Seniors for average season in 2008 and a few losses that we had to get used to for a couple of years.

If you're talking career production, yes.
But I meant in terms of perception on National Signing Day that year. RJF wasnt seen as the homerun recruit Perrilloux was

Yes, we had 75 scholarship players returning. 3 need to be processed. Les inherited an already LOADED program.

yeah we only recruited 13 b/c that roster was ABSOLUTELY stacked
it's not like we could have recruited 25 and only got 13
this was also in another era before greyshirting was big and oversigning loopholes were abused (like they are today)
