Remember when you had to worry about recruits not being eligible academically

that sure seemed to fall by the wayside
all these kids are eligible now and most teams don't lose current players to academic ineligibility
only ones recently for LSU were WR Deion Smith who never went to class and John Emery with his family issues

It is incredible that the uptick in academic achievement coincides with NIL

Is the ACT a factor anymore? It was waived for a good number of years.

It's because the test score no longer matters with being academically eligible to play college football anymore. Another effect of Covid-19. In 2020 NCAA made the test score go away as a prerequisite for being eligible.

Nope don’t have to enter it even to apply for school now. I remember praying for a 17 so I would NCAA Clearinghouse eligible ha old days
