Section 105 and 104. I sit in 104 when I go to games and they sit all around there. Pretty cool. I talked to Shep some last year.

If Boulder's list is correct, this is a staggering mass of talent in the stadium. Whoa!! Is the Lache attendance accurate?

Boulder,

How do you know the list I put together is accurate?

It is no where near the full list of recruits that will be here and some may even be dropped as the game approaches. Check for updates on the other board and I will post an updated list on here Thursday.

I will post another update Thursday...

Notes:

Ego Ferguson was scheduled to be here this weekend but he is taking the SAT that day and will likely come to the Tulane game.

Joshua Shaw was also scheduled but we were dropped from the running and now the visit is back on again.

Spencer Ware was also scheduled but this game falls on his homecoming.

Lache will likely be at the LSU/AU game as well.

Most of the 22 committed prospects will be in attendance.

I know he is a long shot but I have to think that, once he sees the atmosphere on campus during the day, feels the electricity in the stadium that Saturday night, and gets a firsthand account of a intense SEC game, we will weigh heavy on his mind.

What are our chances of turning this guy from NC State? I would guess a significant component would be whether he has a preference to play inside or on the end because I am assuming we would want him to play inside.

The Dandy One had this info this morning:
quote:

In recruiting news, this weekend LSU will be entertaining 40-45 prospects in football, basketball, softball and baseball, according to unofficial information I have received from very reliable sources. I was told that close to 30 football prospects have informed LSU that they would be attending the game. LSU is expecting 6-8 official visits in football including offensive lineman Evan Washington (6'5", 290) from De Soto, Texas, and wide receiver Mike Davis (6'2", 180) from Dallas Skyline who are already committed to LSU. Also expected to take official visit to LSU this weekend are Cassius Marsh, a 6'4", 290 defensive tackle from Westlake Village, California, and Richard Ash, a 6'4", 270 defensive tackle from Pahokee, Florida who is very highly recruited but has not been offered by the big three schools in the state (Florida, Florida State, Miami). LSU should have a decent chance of signing Ash. I am still working on getting the names of the other players who will be taking official visits. I have been told that All-American running back Lache Seastrunk from Temple, Texas will not be at LSU for the Florida game but will be making his official visit to LSU for the Auburn game.

The game against the Gators is the game of the year and most of the in-state prospects who have not committed to any schools are expected to attend the game on unofficial visits this weekend. A few of the prospects who will be attending the game are: wide receiver Kevin Wright from Belle Chase; Trovon Reed from Thibodaux (the No. 1 prospect in the state on my top prospect list); Jarrett Fobbs, a great athlete from Huntington High School in Shreveport who is committed to Texas A&M but is seriously considering LSU; Churphy Stewart, an outstanding defensive lineman from Breaux Bridge who has some major academic issues but will mostly likely sign with LSU and attend a private school for one year to get his grades in order according to a well known radio announcer from Breaux Bridge. We will have to wait and see how things turn out with Stewart. Also expected to attend the game are all the in-state players who have already comitted to LSU.

now it seems like every school that offered me has been recruiting me just as hard. That’s why I am leaving my recruitment open for now because it really is even.

Sounds like he's waiting on an LSU offer to me. I wouldn't be completely shocked if he committed on the spot if offered.

If a recruit in on an unofficial visit, is he allowed to be given free tickets to the game?

I dont know anything about him, but I feel kinda bad for him tbh. Sounds like LSU is in his blood.

Hey bhelm - do you know if it is James Wright from Belle Chase or Kevin Wright from CLA? It says Kevin Wright from Belle Chase on the list.

Getting James Wright in for a visit could go a long way in getting him.
