recruits and school clothing question

Stupid question, but we all see these recruits wear college schools gear. Do these recuits buy the clothing items themselves or do they recieve items when they offically visit these schools?

I would only assume the receive them from camps and visits.

Shirts and other gear is generally included in the cost of attending these camps.

Camps are usually during the summer so shirts would make sense but what if you see a recruit wearing a sweatshirt and beanie? Hmmm would thesealso be givenout at a summer camp?

The last time I checked, these items can be purchased from several stores and online.

I am pretty sure for an offical visit they can be given a small amount of university garb.

I'm sure they throw them a shirt when the get on campus too. I think it would be a pretty shitty move to wear another schools shirt on another visit.
