Jackson with that speed and how well he's playing nickel will get him late first round/second round grade.

Toliver is ready to move on and his length will play well, probably looking at 3rd/4th round.

Both will get return to school grades. Maybe, Maybe one slips into round 2. I can't find a mock draft with either in the top 2 rounds.

Aranda plays um all. With the kind of depth at DB any can play without drop off. Keeps them fresh to help reach their maximum every play. So even if he comes with expecting to start, he will play a lot.

There was a lot of good info about Kirklin as well coming from camp. Sounds like they were really high on his skills too. But I agree we need to stud DB's.

So I assume your brilliant prescription is to recruit fewer NFL hopefuls?

I've seen a couple with Toliver as a mid-2nd round pick. But not a lot of them.

Before the season started different talking heads were saying Tolliver had 3/4 round grade without playing much last year due to his measurables. He has only improved this year and with his tendency to end up in the dog house, I don't see him staying.

Tre White made a smart, informed decision.

Too many LSU guys of late have not been as open minded. Reading the vibe here it sounds like D. Jackson and Toliver have already decided they are leaving.

Therefore it won't likely matter what the NFL advisory board gives them as far as a projection.

They gone. I'm just going to enjoy watching them play at a high level for another 5 games in a Tiger uniform.

The OP linked a quote from a recruit saying exactly that.

Actually, here is a good article on TW’s decision making process:

I'm confident in Greedy and Kary, I just get irritated that we have this type of turnover every year

Toliver was starting games back when LF was leading the heisman race. Was hurt most of last year.

Donte has been starting for almost 2 full seasons. And played a good bit as a frosh.

It is extremely rare you have a 4 year starter at CB, if they can start their 1st 3 at DBU they rarely return for a 4th (white). This is normal attrition

Jackson is only starting to come into his own. Toliver has probably had the best 2-3 game stretch of his career after being practically nonexistent last year as a soph. He's also got to show he can stay out of the doghouse. I'm sure this will be good discussion between Thanksgiving and the bowl game.

Greedy is better that KT & DJ. That's how good Greedy is, not a knock on KT & DJ.

Toliver and Jackson shouldn’t go pro but they will

We keep getting these 5 star studs like toliver and 4 star like Jackson yet we lose 4 and 5 games every year and they leave early. Lol
