recruiting question regarding bowl games

Are teams not allowed to be in contact with recruits during bowl games? I've read teams can't have official visits during bowls, but are there restrictions on giving players and families tickets to the game or allowing them on the sidelines informally?

Dead period starts Sunday at midnight through January 10th

So the period between Sunday and the December signing period is dead? Does that mean no contact at all, or just nothing face to face?

Recruits can make contact to initiate conversation, but can't be on campus or have face to face meetings.
