After his great defensive performance in the UA game he was worried Mack Brown was going to move him to cb.
I read the same thing. Mack isn't even sure what day it is these days. If he wants to play in the NFL, he will play CB. Almost every recruiting service has him on DEF, but I am sure Mack is just telling the kid what he wants to hear. Shep was going to get a good look at QB when he showed up at LSU also.

Thanks guys. Maybe Rivals should hire me.

Christian Okafor OG Cal. 6'6' 300 pounds. Most sites list him as a tackle but I think he'll end up inside. Early enrollee and my third lineman from the same school

jembeurt selects Gavin Andrews OT, Oregon St.
Really stoked that I was able to get him. Pairing good size with a nasty streak is always a good recipe for a Olineman. With Andrews, I get an amazing work ethic as well. In this article, it shows how in 15 weeks, he lost over 50 pounds to meet his wrestling weight! Even if that initial number was a bit high (which it probably was) 30-40 pounds for a HS kid to lose that quickly takes some want to, especially to do it the healthy way.
Also, him played against Arik Armstead in the High School Championship and did very well against him. Not to mention he will get to play him every year in college now as well.

Gimme Christo Kourtzidis exclusively because I love the name and I need a tight end.

Well that sucks for you because he was already drafted.

He was taken in Rd 15, but not spelled correctly on the tracking sheet or the OP. It is all correct now. Sorry for the confusion.

Are you playing a 3-4 or 4-3?
Let me know how you want your players positioned.
Drafting a 3-4 this year because that's really all McCullers can play in. On my overall team though I plan on having Clowney and Spence coming off the edge in a 4-3.

Thanks.
Also, who do you want as your MLBs? You have three OLBs thus far.

Kirby can play MLB if I don't find a better option in the coming rounds.

Feel like I've spent more time watching tape and researching this year than I have in year's past, especially more than last year. After my first year of having multiple kids with character issues and getting booted and/or transferring, I've made a concerted effort to target kid's with zero known off the field problems.
After all that, here's my general impressions of my team:
Offense:
QB: A little worried. Will be taking a second in the supp. rounds. Fuller has all the ability in the world, but he is trying to play across the country, and there are rumors he may not qualify. If he pans out, he'll likely be a collegiate star. If not, I could see him winding up back home and going to Rutgers eventually.
RB: Love Coleman. Love that he's on campus. He's short, but he isn't slight. He's explosive. Honestly, may be my favorite player on my team.
WR: A little iffy on this bunch. I like Neal's long-term upside, but it's a stacked depth chart. I think Caleb could play immediately, and he's a natural athlete that gives me some size and strength, but lacks great speed. Still need a slot type to round out my core. Overall, I'm iffy on them.
TE: Like Sprinkle's athleticism, but future is pretty unknown. Could be a big part of the offense or could fade into obscurity.
OT: Love both my tackles. Goodman is a tad shorter than I typically prefer, but he's a mauler, with good bend and athleticism and great effort. I think he'll start day 1 at Arizona State.
OG: Have none yet. One guy targeted that I really like. Unsure about the other so far.
OC: Cody Waldrop is a kid I like a lot on tape. Strong kid. Had a nice offer list. I think he could end up being a really solid player.
Defense:
DE: Odenigbo is probably my 2nd favorite player. Love his classroom smarts. Love his personality. Fast as frick. Will likely end up at LB at Northwestern, though. Fields plays with really good technique and great burst. Also like Patterson's track record of developing guys, and Fields is one of most highly sought guys he's ever had.
DT: Edwards is still the best player in this class IMO. Enough said there. Nero is a good who gets out of stance so well, I couldn't pass up. Looks like a disruptive force.
LB: Weaver is a sound player without great athletic upside, but I love his smarts and instincts. Bafaro is a kid who really has nice athletic upside, likes to hit and plays physical and aggressive. Barton is OLB in my system, but will play inside at Cal. Still like him quite a bit.
CB: Manning is slight, but he plays tough. Has a chance to be on the field early for VTech. With McWilliams, I love his ball skills and athleticism. Depth chart ahead of him is fairly favorable as well, with 3 CBs leaving.
S: Wilson is a heady kid that can run the backside of my D. Perfect cover 2 safety. Moore has as much athletic upside as anyone in this class, IMO.
Overall, pretty pleased. Feel much better about the defense than offense. If I re-did anything, it would be maybe passing on Fuller in the 2nd, and maybe nabbing Thomas Johnson, because I really like that kid.

We need just 22 players, or 11 on defense and 11 on offense going into the supplemental picks? I have 3 oline picks, but may go defense with an upcoming pick if I can fill one of the oline spots in the supplemental.
Posted on 3/11/12 at 11:53 pm to Cecil D Diesel
Yeah, you have to fill 11 O and 11 D before the supplemental rounds. Can't stock up on others before then, knowing you'll have your guys available in the supplemental rounds.
