Okay the best part of this exercise is the debate so I will give my thoughts on the selections of you knuckleheads. Dont get offended because I am an idiot so my opinions shouldnt carry too much weight.

OBUDan-loved that he has put his dline together already. Smart move by building around Edwards. Getting Fuller will be a bigtime move when all is said and done.

Cecil C Diesel-Taking Barry Sanders Jr was a shrewd move. A little guy running behind that oline could be a recipe for a future Heisman trophy.

joechristopher-Like Cooper and Poole a lot. Felt he fell in love with LSU players too early.

mikethetiger-solid picks. Building his dline first which is smart.

Hand-Very nice. A couple future top 10 NFL drafts on his roster already.

Dolemite-Dont like his 2,3 and 4 round picks. I dont like taking guards early at all. Ruffin has attitude problems. Blanks stock has dropped dramatically. Last list I saw from Scout had him as the 62nd best in the state of Florida. Kelly we shall see.

Pasty-I would say he has the best roster so far if it wern't for drafting a 2 year mission kid in the 4th round. Way too early for me.

JG-Every player he has taken so far is a playmaker. Nice. Hopefully he has some under the radar oline and dlineman.

Verlander-Ehhhhh. Clearly he is planning to build his team around the running game but has no elite lineman.

David, Larry-Solid linebackers, but they are useless if he cant find lineman to command double teams.

102362-Only guy building his team around his oline.

jembeurt-every pick was good value. I dont think he has reached once.

OldIowaTiger-Very good. I didnt like the Noor Davis pick. He is like Blanks and has slipped a lot.

Roll Tigers-Seymour and Treggs were two guys I thought of grabbing much earlier in the draft, but kept holding off because one service had them ranked high and the other didnt. Gotta love his 1st two picks.

Phan-Montgomery could be a Top 10 pick or end up out of football a year from now. Hopefully for Phan, Gunner works on his chest.

Dro-I dont like the Winston pick. If he goes baseball, then his whole draft is set back. Gurley and Black are very good picks.

mgdtiger-Williams and Smith are great players to start with.

BigBoyTiger-I like it.

ItsThatDude-Building his defense first. Love it.

Spence-Patterson will be interesting to watch.

Suntiger-Not a single oline or dlineman this late in. Winning teams are built with their lineman. Hopefully he has some players in mind.

GulfCoastBiased-Agholor and Shumate were both guys I th0ught about drafting in the second round. Great value picks.

T Dawg-If Neal goes to Arizona, then I love his draft. If Neal goes anywhere else, I hate his draft. Haha

rpanep1-Solid play makers, but no lineman. Risky picks with Alford and Kwon. High risk high reward. HOpefully it works out.

Nebraska commit Jordan Westerkamp. I think he has a real good shot at early playing time.

Also my draft is geared more towards drafting the 25 players who will have the best careers. I figure get he players who will be the best and the positions and "build" of the team will work its self out.

I actually like this player, but I think you reached a little too hard for him. I was looking at him, but not for at least 3-4 rounds from now. Unless WRs started to fly off the board, you could have gotten him later.

With that said though, if you liked him that much, kudos for going out a grabbing the guys you want. No regrets on missing "your guys".

ETA: Nice write up on each team, Big Cat.

Same here. He's explosive but I can't foresee him holding up. There's another diminutive back I like.

QBs and RBs win Heisman's and WRs, LBers and CBs get all the accolades. Plus, most CBs and RBs also return punts/kicks. I drafted offensive linemen early two years ago and they have been starters, but they aren't worth bragging about. I guess I've decided that with the RMD, I've decided to drive for show, rather than put for dough.

There is no wrong way to do this draft. I draft like how I would run an actual squad. Therefore, having good lines of both sides of the ball is crucial. However, if you are looking to impress and brag, Suntiger said it best.

My draft two years ago was pretty good. However the picks I can brag about are my QB, WR, and one LB. However, 3 of my Olinemen played and started the bulk of their freshman year (one got switched to defensive tackle). Add to that, two of my Dlinemen played the majority of their freshman year. This year, all of my OL and all but one of my DL from that class will see significant minutes, or even start. Unless they go high in the NFL draft, not much to brag about there.

I will always draft heavy on the OL/DL side with great emphasis on CB and LB. The rest, I draft for only when I see great value. I'm actually surprised with myself that I only have 1 DLman.

My great dilemma.

I tend to build my team as if I'm trying to build a program: heavy emphasis on "premium positions" DL, OT (though not this year), CB, QB.

Other spots I feel like I can fill with lower ranked talents, because they aren't as important.

The only thing I can counter this with is that he did take the majority of his snaps out of a pro-form/I-formation set. I watched a good bit of his film and noticed that he hit holes rather than bust it outside more often than not.

Not saying that is going to hold against SEC defenses, but at least he tries to go up the middle sometimes.

I will take TE Ricky Parks Auburn.

Parks has good enough size at 6'3 1/2 230, but he will end up playing aroiund 250. Rivals compares him to Vernon Davis and that is pretty accurate. Now he doesn't run a 4.3 like VD (lol) but he is crazy athletic.

He is rated #1 by rivals and 247.

Parks played QB and LB for his high school team. His natural position is at TE. Parks has already been deemed the heir apparent to Lutzenshitter. Once Lutzenfagger graduates, parks should see a lot of balls coming his way.

Also, do not search google images for ricky parks without safe search on. I found out the hard way that there must be a gay pornstar also named ricky parks

Funny how 102's pick always comes up in the mid morning range. Doesn't he work nights?

Yep, sucks for him.

He gave me permission to bump him after 20 minutes or so, though.

Give him time, mainly because I am dreading my next pick.

I am stuck between two guys and I don't know what to do.

Armstead will definitely require a double team, and I have a few sleepers on my board

And yes, I'm all about being generous with giving time to make picks this weekend (until Wed.) Pretty sure I'll be drunk and pick a longsnapper or something.

Oooh, can't wait for this.

With my next two picks, I'll take Reid Ferguson.

Reid is an excellent snapper deeper that could double as a end tight in a versatlie ofesne that runs my way behind these bees up front.

The parade I am riding in on Saturday just got pushed back to Sunday due to the weather. We will still get together on Saturday though.

Probably won't get much done those two days either.
