Pitt Offensive Guard, Gabe Roberts.
Was at one point committed to Wisconsin as possible greyshirt but he choose to follow Chyst to Pitt

Patrick Towles could be the steal of the draft or he could just be the next guy to fail miserably as QB for Kentucky recently. Kentucky thinks he is JESUS.

Jembeurt wants Javalle Allen, QB, Arizona
Bad pick IMO he could be RichRod's next Pat White/Denard but I highly doubt it. Rich Rod with a full year of recruiting will find the guy he really wants.

In fact, I believe I'm one of the few traditional folks with an old school roster.
I just don't think there are enough fullbacks to go around. Same almost goes for TEs, because half of them change postiions.
I'm running the offense that Florida State ran in the mid 90s. Shotgun, two back, three wide outs. Is 15-20 years enough to make it traditional?

My team last year was a very traditional pro set. This year I drafted 2 TE's. What is more old school than that?

S Eric Amoako
Scout's take:
Amoako could end up playing safety or cornerback in college. He has nice size for either position and the perfect blend of skills to end up at either. He will come up and make textbook tackles -- he stays low and wraps up. He is aggressive in his pursuit of the ball and plays to the whistle. He runs well and has a high level of athleticism. His ability to run and run allows him to lock down star receivers. He makes big plays. - Greg Powers

Bad pick IMO
I'll take my chances I guess.
Seriously though, did you even look at his film? Never mind the fact that he scored over 30 tds passing AND over 20 tds rushing last year alone. His HS coach realized how much he was not using Allen's talents as a playmaker running a high running offense. This showed in Allen's stats and his recruiting. He changed his offense last year to a spread, and the results speak for themselves. Yes, maybe RichRod will get his own guy next year, but I get Allen this year with hardly no depth in front of him.

He's certainly talented but the situation just reeks of career backup/possible transfer. The potential is super high with any RichRod QB recruit but I don't like your odds. Your team though, just giving my opinion because I looked at a lot of the Arizona players and if we do this next year you can bet I'll have a handful of Arizona guys.

He's walking into a better situation than Mauk, IMO.

How dare you talk badly about the best player in this class, or any class for that matter?

I think it is so silly to criticize someone's pick. This draft is the ultimate crap shoot. No one knows who is actually going to be good or bad...no one is going to know if someone will even make the grades in the classroom.

Absolutely true.
Now this isn't too hard. I promise, I could draft a full set of players that I guarantee would make the grades. However, I do take a couple of chances each year with guys who are on the line academically. Last year it didn't pan out with both of them not making it to campus. Yet, the year before, it worked out fine.

I strongly disagree.
I figure he'll have 2 years behind Franklin.
So then he'll be either a Junior or RS So. Not terrible, but they already have a true freshman backup who is taking all the snaps this spring with Franklin out. Pretty thick competition at the position, it seems...

I'm going to be preoccupied for most of tomorrow. Can I make my pick now since Dolemite only needs a center and I only need a quarterback?
