Post number 2000 in this thread!

ETA: Mother frick!

I had a nice day of "doing nothing and staying at the office and watching the games" planned today. WRONG! After a few phone calls, I now will be lucky to catch any of the earlier games. Oh well, I'm still going to Wingstop tonight with the buds to catch the later games.

Thanks, you guys confirmed my sentiments but I didn't want to take the guy and piss folks off.

I'm pretty sure Jeremy Hill was taken last year too. Although that was an academic issue either.

I'm ready too, Dro.

Two picks that go off the grid from my usual style.

Just so I can make sure we are all on the same page. If you pick a kid and he goes to Juco or prep school. you still have that kid on your team right. I don't have to pick hi again.

I have had a few go that route over the past few years.

Yes.

If anyone is selected, they are off limits to any other team, in any other draft. JUCO, Prep, mission, Transfer (OIT), arrested (Dan), didn't qualify (also Dan), et cetera....

Yep, once selected, they are locked for eternity.

Which is why I'm taking Trey Metoyer with my next pick.

come on now, Trey Meteyor was my my #1 pick last year. One day he will be a supestar for me.
BTW, i am doing really well on my #1 picks. Baxter from USC out at USC and SDstate, Meteyor NQ, so i had to go with a bama guy this year.

I was just poking fun because I think he's been "taken" 3 times in this draft.

They are already expecting big things from Metoyer at OU. He's the real deal. I don't think he'll flame out Dillon Baxter style.

It was at least four time and I know I "looked at him" twice wondering how he was still around.

And I'm with you on the last two picks. I usually go "off the grid" a little on the last few picks. Last year I took Adam Pittser as my QB in the 20th round because of all his 7 on 7 hype since I didn't get a good QB early (he got beat out by another freshman and redshirted) and the year before I chose Dylan Bostick, an offensive lineman from Appalachian State. I know he played some as a freshman, but theres no updated info from last year. That's the draw back with off the radar pics.

Although I'm still liking my pick of Stephen Kaiser, the QB from SMU in 2010. He should get a chance to start for June Jones this year and could be the next Colt Brennan (without the baggage)

Both of these guys will be at BCS schools, but I'm going against my typical picking methodology on both, that's what I meant by off the grid.

Though, I found a kid I really like going to a small school. Might take him with a supp. pick.
