jembeurt selects Eli Ankou DE, UCLA
Show of hands, Who has heard of him?
I stumbled upon him somehow, and soon realized how under rated this kid was. He played most of his HS in Canada, and then moved to Delaware to play his SR year. He knew the only way he could get his name out would be to go to as many camps as possible. So he did.
And all he did was be the D-Line MVP at the Wisky Badger Camp, the D-Line MVP at the Rutgers Nike Camp, and make the All-Camp Team at DE at the Penn St. camp. He has a ton of One-on-One film and looked great in all of it.
The main drawback for him was that he didn't have that much technique when is evals started. That was because in Canada, he had no position coaches or even a D-Coordinator. He has said that most of the moves and techniques that he knows, he has taught himself by watching film! Also, what kind of talent did he face in Canada, or even Delaware for that matter? Well, he did face a lot of good OLmen in those camps, and dominated. Potential is through the roof for this kid.
Badger Camp
Rutgers Nike Camp 1-1 starts at 1:17

Give me Jesse James 6'7 250 TE Penn State.
You can put me in a 2 TE set jembeurt. With Justin Thomas as a WR.

Will Holden-OT
Scout's take:
39. Will Holden, OL, 6-6/275/Clay
Holden was an undersized prospect as a junior who did a lot of things well. He put on the necessary weight for his senior season and was excellent. He has an ideal frame that can still carry a lot more, he plays with lots of passion, he’s aggressive, he can block 30-40 yards downfield, and he’s very smart. One of the most underrated prospects in the whole state, he’s committed to Vanderbilt.

Kaleb Ringer
And there goes Michigan's entire LBing class this year.
Quick side note: I remember reading an article last year about Trey Depriest and tOSU. It said that signing him was important, with him being from Ohio, but not a must. This was due to the LB talent coming in next year (2012). DePriest ultimately chose Alabama and the two guys the article singled out: James Ross and Kaleb Ringer, both ended up going to Michigan. Add that to them losing their highest rated in-state LB, Joe Bolden, to....... Michigan. Oh well. Urban will have that place turned around in no time.

I like Ringer a lot the only reason I didn't pick him is because competition is going to be really tough and I felt like the guys I picked were surer things

I'll take Cordrea Tankersley safety Clemson

I'm too lazy to do it right now, so I'll update in the morning.
But, I have an interesting question.
I found a guy I like. Trouble is, he did not qualify. He didn't sign with any school. He's already in JUCO. Kind of a strange, unique situation. I don't want to say too much, in case this is ruled in my favor, but what is everyone's thoughts on his eligibility.
He SHOULD have been a member of the 2012 class, but he WILL be a member of the 2013 class.
I can see why people would think it's fair from both perspectives, but I wanted to see what everyone thought.

If its even remotely justifiable I say you should take who ever you want.

I've honestly never seen anything like this situation. It's odd, and probably risky. But I'm really impressed by his ability.

Dan, if it makes you feel any better, I did something similar when I chose MLB Shannon Brown in last year's draft. He chose to enroll in a JUCO early to qualify to sign with Bama, but I took him late anyway because I was really impressed by his film. Up until now, he still hasn't landed at Alabama or anywhere after enrolling at Mississippi East Community College only to transfer to Georgia Military College. The thought is that he's now a Georgia lean thanks to his relationship with Grantham, who never stopped recruiting him. He should be eligible as an early enrollee as a junior with three years to play two once he lands on a college campus. Also, he's been given the name 'The Boogeyman' thanks to his penchant for hunting down and intimidating running backs and wide receivers over the middle.
So my answer is, to each his own, but taking a kid like that isn't without precedence in this draft. You just have to be patient if you them.

There is nothing against the rules in this case. It would be just like me signing a prep player this year, who was part of last years class. Obviously the player in question was never drafted, therefore he is eligible.

Here is my 2 cents. Just declare it fair game to take guys that have no chance to qualify. D'haquille Williams was selected in last year's draft. I don't see a big difference.
Getting selected from JUCO in the RMD is just a second chance to make a squad.
I picked Kevin Young two years ago. He was an Arizona S/LB commit. He didn't qualify, which I didn't know was an issue when I picked him. He went JUCO for two seasons and now is enrolled at AZ St. I say just pick who you want and roll the dice. It has been done already.
Also, I took the BYU QB who won't see campus for 2 years knowingly. Just sayin'.

I picked TK Flemming in the supp draft last year. I don't think he can even qualify for work release to go to JUCO. But maybe one day...

Nigel Williams, DT, Virginia Tech

Thanks, you guys confirmed my sentiments but I didn't want to take the guy and piss folks off. His story is a little odd, which is why I was a little puzzled.
