I would like to ask you guys who are experts & follow recruiting very closely, does it seem unusually quite for the last couple of weeks before this signing day?

Not an expert, but this is usually a quiet period in terms of actual commitments. There's a ton of chatter, but if they've waited this long, they might as well wait until signing day.

Unusually quite what?

I have followed recruiting closely since 1998.
There are always rumors that fly the last few weeks before NSD. These rumors are pushed and given attention primarily by recruits that want to increase some attention to themselves and by some guys that make a living covering recruiting. They do this to get more clicks, followers, and subs. I don't blame them, it's their job and they are trying to make a buck.

Majority of kids who don't commit during all-star games wait until NSD, so no.

Thanks for the kind replys; seemed rather quite overall - with exception of Phillips.

I think the biggest difference is we usually have 23-25 commits by now. Instead of waiting to hear from 2-4 commits on NSD we are waiting to see what 6-10 are gonna do.

Not really. However typically miles has more official visitors the weekend before. We had three this weekend.
