Won't believe it until he signs on the dotted line.

Man that would be huge if we get these two. Emery is my favorite of the 3 RBs and Sopsher is not just a great DL recruit, but breaking the Tangi-Tide hold would create a recruiting ripple.

How everyone should feel about every recruit.

That's fine then it doesn't need to be said ad infinitum. And if that's all that matters then we can just close the RB until signing day.

Discussing trends and where we stand with recruits is kind of what the RB is for isn't it?

Then why even read this board? Seriously, it's the same in every damn thread. If nothing that's said, written, posted, quoted, or reported is going to change your wait and see attitude then why don't you just click over on signing day?

There's nothing wrong with that, anyone who has followed recruiting long enough eventually realizes that it's fickle and kinda futile to keep up with day to day, but some of us would like to read about recruiting without having to wade through the constant bitching and "I hope I'm wrong, but..." bullshite.

Because you have to have at least one or two tards on every board, it's a TD rule

I don't know why people get excited. Most of these guys don't know what they are talking about. Until they sign I don't care anymore. Not getting played again.

Then GFTO. You are the whiniest son of a bitch on this board. You just posted all the reasons why you don't need to be here.

If you have followed recruiting for a bare minimum of 1 year, you have to realize that you're wasting time getting encouraged or excited by anything less than a commitment from a player. (i.e. Surtain)

And even a commitment isn't worth that much nowadays for some players

Then why are you here? This is baffling to me. It would be like going to the book board and posting that books are long and you don't really like reading.

Because when a player like Marcel Brooks commits to LSU and openly says he is ready to recruit for us, then that gets me excited about him as a player and the possibility of our class. Also, it is a good place to get knowledge on potential recruits, where they are camping, how they are performing, and if they commit elsewhere.

But I do not get all the excitement with a CB from some random media member who probably has no real knowledge of what is going on in a kids brain.
