I assume it’ll be some of the WDE and olbs.

Seems like he would be a nice complement to Kiner but I have a feeling we will have to fight off Bama and others for him.

Best RB we are in on this cycle by a good margin imo

So you think he's better than Wheaton? I haven't seen any film on him yet which is why I'm asking...

Absolutely a 3-down back which is the type LSU should be targeting from now on
I think Kiner can be a 3-down guy as well, but I just like Goodwin more

Bama has to be the biggest threat here. Will be interesting to see how their numbers shake out compared to ours.

I remember loving this kids tape last time he was discussed but what leads us to think LSU is the favorite?

I think our staff sees the closest thing to Clyde in this class. Compact but thickly built with low center of gravity, really good balance and suddenness.
I like Camar and he the clear #2 imo. Their styles are very similar, Camar just has more prototypical size.
The things I see that appeal in Goodwin’s game is he makes some nice catches on his tape and is a physical runner between the Tackles with really good pad level. And he plays in a physical class of football in Alabama compared to Texas, and has been highly productive and successful against good competition. Just what I see.
I’m not saying Camar can’t do those things but 90% of his film is galloping in the open field. And Im not saying he’s better for the Big 12 but I have seen enough from Goodwin to feel like his game translates to the SEC.
Biggest concern is the medical. He tore a couple tendons last year and I honestly have no clue how that’s going and whether he’s exactly the same player or not.

Someone put together a thread for the numbers

Who’s the competition here?

Florida State according to Fong. But Clemson has been mentioned. We also shouldn’t discount the chance he just goes back to Auburn.

Recruiting is going to have a wild finish. So many variables still floating around. Good luck trying to figure the final 25.

Hearing good news on Langston. Foreman likely headed to USC.
