Wasn't jacoby jones dumb as a box of rocks? Why would he go to lane college as talented as he was. If saban had been at Bama at that time he would have him qualified but idk of he had many options. The talent was there...

I dont know if those were his only offers, but he was definitely down to Tulane and The U. Plenty of people say that those were his only offers.

Dude ur an idiot. U don't know the story. Did u know that he was only 5'8 coming out of HS and grew to 6'3 when he transferred to Lane to play football.

And? He's always been talented. All of our recruits are 6"+? You don't have to e a 4* to get into a half decent college.

Did u not read this correctly? He was 5'8 until he transferred to Lane! He was 5'8 at SELU. Do u get it now? He was too damn small to play at a half decent college until he sprouted.

I know he went to SELU. Then transferred to lane... What I don't get is why 5'8 is so significant.
TM7 is only 5'9. It's not like anyone knew he'd be as good a he was. Holliday. OBJ is only like 5'11 and he was the starter at one point. And this is an elite school. He could have gotten into state, kentucky or another mid major at that height.
