I rubbed so many people the wrong way when I first got on message boards, especially this one. I'd post a thread dropping hints, live in it when online and constantly defend myself when my tact or info was being dissected. Even today, there are posters here that won't let it go. I can't blame them, though, because I came across as an arse.
So simply put, don't look like an arse. Change your approach a little bit, and they will love you for it. Not trying to preach, just trying to help.

Jimmy: as you are in a helping mode, do you mind helping me understand why the TP, Advocate or ST beat reporters or recruiting guys didnt interview Gary's mom about her visit? If y'all don't have her number can't you run contact through his high school coach? Am trying to understand why papers as opposed to paid sites didn't interview her. Too busy with practices? If you don't know can you ask JK for us? Thanks much.
