There’s always cause for concern anytime one of our big time commits go on visits. I will say this though LSU has been holding onto and winning more and more battles with Bama. That’s cause for concern for Saban and Bama as well. Soon LSU will be pick pocketing their recruits and we’ll see how ole Saban likes that shite. It won’t be long.

What gets me is that even though these recruits see these recruiting games that Bama plays with LSU, LSU is still winning and hasn’t gone away. You would think that eventually they would catch on and stick with the team that was loyal the whole time and the team they actually feel more comfortable at. Because playing for that school can’t be all that much fun besides the winning. Basically what I’m saying is, LSU start beating this team consistently, making playoff appearances, winning some playoff games and then championships and all this will flip flop.

Go get em Tigers. Get em O. It’s our time. Take our spot back. We comin. I hope Burrow has the game of his life during the Florida, Auburn and Bama games. He had one against Texas. If these freshman RBs catch fire this season and Ed Ingram makes the difference we needed on the OL then watch the frick out. I hope we unleash all these so called injured players on Florida this year and it carries over to Auburn and Bama. Finally getting some sweet pay back vs A&M as well. Except this time it won’t be near the hands of a few refs. Blow them the hell out. 56-13. This year is going to be fun to watch.

Apparently bamas new QB commit has been in the ear of Rakim Jarrett. They played the other night and apparently talked and have communicated since then. Really hope we can keep this guy. He looks like a Freaking beast on film

kids take official visits to enjoy the process. nothing to see.

It may be nothing or it may be something, depends on what happens on signing day.

I remember when Patrick Surtain's official visit to Alabama was "nothing" and that he was an LSU lock as long as Raymond was on staff.

Anyone not at least a little concerned about one of our commits taking a visit to Bama is either being willfully ignorant or just plain ignorant.

Getting top targets on campus for official visits is big for all programs, but it's huge for programs like us, Bama, Clemson, Georgia, etc, who have high level recruiters that can close.

Is it though? Commitments don’t seem to mean much to most prospects now days.

I tend to agree, but especially with Jarrett. His commitment has seemed pretty flimsy at times, plus he's an out of state guy with no ties, that I'm aware of, to Louisiana. Whereas Surtain was supposedly a silent commit, who has us as his leader for years, whose dad was from, New Orleans.

This. Jarrett may want to look at all options (READ WHAT YOU WANT INTO THAT). There is always a counter... clearing throat. But a major WR recruit visiting Tuscaloosa is nothing new. If he flips between now and NSD he was never coming here anyway. No need to make it a big deal or lose a minute of sleep over it. LSU will get theirs at WR and so will the other guy.
