I got a call saying he was a tiger. Obviously I don't know any of the coaches. I figure this person would know.

I know your angle. The facts of what has actually happened during his recruitment disagrees with you, however. If LSU was always ready to lock him in, they would have actually pushed hard to do so before now, injury or no. But they wanted to look at him a bit post injury, simple as that.
But "lol wut?" makes for an eloquent reply, so feel free to stand on that.
Regardless, looking forward to see what RJ can do on the field as a senior.

A little. I think all coaches try to beat around the bush on borderline offers when injuries are involved. I don't know the Jeffersons, but I know other Destrehan families and I heard they were playing Rickey a little hot and cold.

He's going to be a very good player for us. Jordan was one hell of an athlete. Imagine him being athletic enough to play corner.
ETA the coaches are smart. They have our camp at the exact time of Bama. Once RJ made it clear that he was going to ours only, that showed the coaches where his heart was.
