LSU is young at QB. I don't see them bringing in another freshman or sophomore. I see them bringing in an upperclassman that will give Howard and Nuss time to mature, without forcing them out.

I'm sure Coach K/OC will pull it off somehow but seems like it'll be pretty tough to get a guy to come here when he's gonna end up on the bench first time something goes wrong in Conference at the latest. They're transferring because they want to play.
Don't know about passing numbers but Penix has had some success in Big 10. Gotta feel like Nuss/Howard are the future and need to be ready as possible for Conference, though.
