I may lose my mind if we don't sign Baldwin.
You like Baldwin better than Corral?
Edit: I just watched his senior highlights and I think Corral is significantly better. That said, Baldwin might be my second choice over Foster, Bohannon, et al.

I like Foster and Baldwin. Baldwin maybe isn’t as polished as Corral but he’s from Lsu pedigree and that should give us an advantage hopefully

Amazing to me this kid doesn’t have an offer?? Rogers isn’t coming to Lsu and the coaches are gonna miss out. We won’t even send our OC to see our top qbs. This is getting rediculous

Corral is too much of a risk to bank on. If he wasn't such a dunderhead he'd have a lot more offers.

We probably would have had we offered him. I guess the staff feels better about other guys on the board.

Good. Now this board can stop obsessing over a guy LSU isn't recruiting.

I agree, bigger fish out there.
Always nice to see the local boy that you’ve been watching this season go onto your team.
Not to mention, he goes to same school as the future Heisman to be...
Oh well !

Canada had an in-home visit with him.

Matthew Baldwin and his high school team extended their season with another win in the Texas playoffs on Saturday.
Playing in the Class 6A, Division I regional final, Austin (Texas) Lake Travis quarterback Matthew Baldwin completed 24 of 30 passes (80%) for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 38-17 win. He also ran for another touchdown.
“Matthew is a great player, and he’s still getting better,” Lake Travis coach Hank Carter told the Austin American-Statesman. “He has only 14 starts under his belt. The sky is the limit.”
Baldwin’s biggest test to date will come in the state semifinals on Saturday, when Lake Travis faces Katy in the Alamodome. Katy is ranked No. 6 nationally by MaxPreps and No. 13 nationally by USA Today.
Baldwin is the No. 17 pro-style quarterback in 2018 per the 247Sports composite rankings.

We all know Canada went in-home with him. I'm just wondering why no offer or visit in place.

Urban offered Garrett Wilson ( Jr) while visiting at Lake Travis , Baldwin says he’s gonna try to get him to the Shoe too

Just led the team to the state finals, hurt his knee in the semi final against Katy. Unknown status of injury at this time. Per radio broadcast.

I watched the championship game, Baldwin went down untouched on 1st play from scrimmage, appears to have torn something in the knee.
His backup is a sophomore by the name of Hudson Card, 6'2" 185#. Strong and fairly accurate arm along with good running skills. Pretty quick & shifty, played some slot receiver when not playing QB.
Nearly led LT to the win, but lost by 2, and was down 21-0 in 1st quarter.
Someone to watch over the next couple of years. Arkansas has offered, only SEC team.
Love their kicker's name, Cam Dicker, the kicker. Strong & accurate leg, signed with UT, tho.

Probably because Canada told hm he won’t be at LSU much longer. The parents called O, so this was Canada’s last venture out recruiting for LSU.

You mean the offense didn't skip a beat with a sophomore?
