His Oline was like Swiss cheese in most of those plays. There was someone in his face within 2 seconds on many of those plays that he made something out of nothing.

I disagree with signing 2 QBs in the 2021 class. We really need to build depth on both sides of the line. We have a junior that could return along with 2 true freshmen QBs plus Nuss is already on board. We also got the #5 overall QB in Walker Howard for the 2022 class. I dont consider it a "wasted scholarship" but I do not see a need for another QB with the quality of QBs we already have and what is coming.

I don’t see us extending a scholly to him at this point, especially with what’s coming out of high school in the next few years. He might get a PWO opportunity but the numbers likely aren’t in his favor.

Correct. His dad is Blaine Lourd, a big time financial advisor in LA, and his uncle Bryan runs CAA.
Blaine is LSU alum and bought Les Miles's house earlier this year. Interesting purchase and considering they live full-time in LA. Big LSU fans and it would not surprise me if he ends up in this class or as a PWO.

That's a damn fine highlight film. Love the way he keeps his eyes downfield while scrambling. Has enough arm strength to makes those throws on the run.. I'm in. Let's get em in BR!

Ok...finally checked out kid's highlights.
No way I don't find a way to get this kid in a Tiger uniform if I am O and Ensminger.
The arm strength is not quite where you want it to be in those highlights, but his accuracy and ball placement is as good as you will find at any level. Impressive that he appears just as accurate on the run.
Arm strength may never be elite, but it will likely improve with physical development.
Scholarship worthy talent IMO...but if you can get a kid that talented in as a PWO.
