I say he's a starter by the 3rd or 4th game. I'll get it over with before all the d-bags start posting it, "who's Loston?"

He certainly looks ready. So now it just comes down to how the upperclassmen perform

the few plays he got a chance to make, and his tape i've seen it looks like he has decent ballskills, and that should put him number1 on the depth chart from day one.

I'm sick and tired of Safety's who shite themselves every time the ball is in the air.

He also plays "mean" which is a plus for a safety.

ETA: I highly doubt he's a starter next year, with the number of safety's already in the program, but with a fresh start on the defensive side of the ball I think we could see a huge shift in the depth chart from last year.

Just a reminder that the game was against other HS kids. Being a starting safety at a major college program requires a really good knowledge of the DC's scheme in order to play the position effectively (In other words, FR have some serious learning to do before they can become a starter IMO)

I like for LM to work him in and get a feel for how he handles the game situations..just like he did with PP this season

I never said anything about playing.

He will obviously be playing the as soon as he steps on campus.

He might be the most athletic with the most upside the minute he steps on the practice field but that doesnt translate to starting in the first 4 games.

We are playing for SEC and National Championships. Craig Loston would be a liability to a certain extent, he doesnt know how to play college ball against Florida and Alabama.

This is not NCAA or Madden.

loston may be better then jones imo. I would say loston is one of the top players in the country easily top ten, maybe top 5. I remember stories of guys he has put in the hospital, although that does not make a great safety, but he has a great nose for the ball as well. Chavis will take all the talent he inherits and place them accordingly. Our boys will be in position. I can see atrition coming already

Loston may not start next year but he will play

when RS was playing last night i had my fingers crossed the entire time hoping Loston didn't kill him

my new favorite quote is "Craig Loston doesn't hit like a Mack truck, Mack trucks hit like Craig Loston"

You can't be serious? Your comparing SEC play to a fricking high school all-star game?

This board never ceases to amaze.

why do people keep under playing this? I know it's not the SEC, but these are the best high school players in the country, they aren't little girls

He had C.Steltz in front of him. C.Loston has a chance to step in front of D.McCray. And BTW, Maximimus, the good fans are the ones that are happy we got the #1 safety in the country.
