Yeah, he decided to mix it up with me on Twitter after I called him out. Oh well.

Miami fans somehow can't seem to grasp that their program is completely insignificant. Everyone around the country expects mediocrity from the Canes, and they continue to deliver, year after year.

When you're not the cream of the crop in your own state it's hard to get from mediocrity.

UM fans are sad. They have not been on the radar for years. They hold up their U as if it is supposed to intimidate. They are like the old folks who sit around talking of how the good ole days were, and hope someone is actually paying attention.

Exactly. They haven't come to terms with the fact that they are no longer a power.

And they're obviously not developing players at all...especially on defense.

Supposedly their AD wants them to be more like a Big 10 school: heavy emphasis on academics, less concern for performance. Guy said Golden's job is super safe at 8-4 every year.

the last time we played miami, we beat em 40-3, held em to 150 yards of offense and knocked out one of their guys in a fight after the game and sent another to the hospital overnight. i think that was dec 30th 2005, they came into the game ranked 10th in the nation and we effectively ended the U that night in atlanta. they still havent recovered from it.

Now positive signs from an LSU writer

Jimmy D Smith ?@JimmyDetail 32s
Travonte Valentine will wait until NSD to make his decision public. Was also informed that the official visit to Miami is unlikely.

I think the biggest takeway from that is Jimmy saying public which reiterates what he had previously said that he has been a silent to LSU (he claims since Nov.)

All in all good to hear more reassurance that he will be in this class.

Brent Lashway ?@blash84 5m
@JimmyDetail @PeterAriz do you think he already knows he wants to come to The U? And his visit to LSU solidified that?

@blash84 @PeterAriz I don't believe that to be the case.
