I know Johnson is a completely different kid, but Jackson Carman told the OSU staff he was in, and was committed to OSU for months, then went to Clemson, and he was a 5* in state OT.
OSU fans are not getting the warm and fuzzies because of that, but as I said, 2 different kids

Oline is LSU biggest concern and has been for awhile,the staff obviously needs to be as aggressive as possible to lure in better players at the position

As someone had previously said in another thread he would be treated like a king the whole time he’s at LSU he’s the difference in the trenches we need to take down the likes of Bama and Clemson we NEED him!! He could come in right away and compete for if not win that starting LT job he’s that good

Tub said he told our coaches he’s coming however, he’s skeptical since there is no official flip.

With this kid I would rather he make an announcement after he visits Ohio St. The fact he nearly committed to UGA and what we are hearing from this weekend makes him seem very impulsive. He needs to take in the entire process versus committing to us and then getting swayed back to Ohio St. JMO

Yea, he's told OSU staff on multiple occasions (according to OSU insiders) that he isn't going anywhere and is just taking these visits since he promised to do so. As you said, let this kid make his decision. I'm not sure if he's impulsive or just making sure he lives it all up before he's just another freshman at a big time program who needs to earn his time

I agree with you. I don’t think we get him. I bet he had a great time while in Baton Rouge. Got to give it to this staff they leaving no stone unturned.

I love to see the effort in going after elite tackles. I agree though. Don't think LSU lands him.

Bill Kurelic, OSU insider, said he expects Johnson to reaffirm after his vist June 21 and he also expects Henry to commit right around that weekend. Another insider yesterday said it was "nonsense" that he had silently committed to LSU over the weekend. I have no idea if that is true and I'm just passing on info.
I know a scarce few of you said you appreciated my info and it was cordial last weekend so this is just an updated from OSU's end
