Get Trey Amos and Desmond Ricks from Alabama. Ricks was all LSU until signing day last year when Saban dropped the bag last minute. Amos is a Louisiana native who served as Bamas #3 CB this year and was really impressive especially in the SEC Championship against UGA.

Looks like he split time his freshman year and this was his first full season on defense.

Id absolutely bring him in, though. A big part of recruiting is simply recruiting traits, and he has them physically.

As a freshman in 2022 he was playing WR, he got moved to DB for 2023, got hurt in fall camp and missed a few games early on. This was his first year playing DB and came into it injured so it makes sense he wasnt out there playing much on the best defense in the country arguably.

Mari was not ready to play defense at a high level as he was still learning the trade. I don't think he's a guy that can just walk on the field right away. Freak athlete, great kid with good grades, just don't know if he is the right fit for LSU.

That’s about a game in a half … need to hire Our DBU coach first and watch for Bama guys to jump ship… NEED DBU coach first …
