Just for general wondering which one I should look at as being more trustworthy. I've looked at both and they contradict each other. On3 has CJ Jackson as a 4-star but 247 has him as a 3-star; it's like that with a few other recruits.

On3.

But don’t worry the Bama bump still exists over there

That is the answer, lol. ESPN still has McBride as a 3 star, lol

I still like 247.

ON3 is coming up but 247 is still better right now, in my opinion. Probably because I’m just so used to using them as my reputable recruiting source

I think it's hard to judge at this point in the season because player and ranking updates are few and far between.

Personally, I think I like On3 better because they seem to update their evaluations and rankings more regularly. I don't think 247 has updated their score for CJ Jackson yet.

On3

Think they need a few cycles to see how accurate their rankings are compared to 247

on3 has more intel and content on the lsu side, but 247 still puts out decent content.

Billy and Shea are much more informed and more friendly than Sonny.

The answer is always “whichever has a higher rating”

Really can't go wrong with either. On3 is the newest and the one with the advantage of having the originators still involved. They'll eventually be the premier source if not already.

Others may disagree, but it seemed to me like Sonny stepped back for a few years and a lot of the connections and information came through Shea and Billy. When Shea left, it felt kind of like 247 was starting over with all new hires that didn't really have those connections yet. It's entirely possible that 247 has gotten better over the last year, but on3 has consistently been very good.
