That DL from UNC, what do we know about him. On3 has him rated 92.74 4****. How did he play this year for UNC? Is he someone that LSU should take a look at?

besides the incoming defensive overhaul, I would love to get a proven receiver out of the portal to pair with Lacy (most likely coming back)

The only players that can enter now are grad transfers or guys on teams with coaching changes.
That limits the pool until after the championship games.

The fact that if a head coaching change allows players to enter the portal gives me hope; I didn't know there was that carve-out.

That looks like he might have decided after 4 games he wanted to go to the portal. I went back and checked the recruiting rankings and he was a consistent top 250 player in the rankings. He is still rated as a solid 4 star, so must be one of those guys with all the measurables but hasn't translated it into production on the field.

I would think that unless someone you just can’t pass on shows up, a vet WR and maybe a vet QB would be the only takes on offense.

I don't believe just based on his stats that he would be a good fit here. But then again as bad as the defense was who am I to turn away a player?
