One of the biggest misconceptions surrounding NIL in the high school ranks has been top prospects picking colleges solely off the highest dollar price
If the money is close, a guy will choose his preferred school and take a bit less. But not if there is a big gap between 1 school and the others. Many of these kids come from single parent homes or homes of modest means. An offer of $600,000+ is life changing money for not just them, but their families. Most will not play in the NFL or do so long enough to make huge money. They aren't going to turn down a big offer to take a much lower offer at their "preferred" school.

I don't think Nuss posting a picture on Instagram is help Gordon get business.
In Gordon’s case I think there is definitely some value to all of the NIL deals and I think it’s probably good advertising/PR. But I doubt the benefits to his business remotely outweigh the cost.

What if the money is close but the schools aren’t? Like if you had a billionaire super fan of let’s say Rice but no prospect ever took the money to go there lol

I’m thinking about the NIL contracts that offer higher up top, but reserve a percentage in future NFL revenues to be paid back to the school. Heard that’s becoming a thing.

You've heard of an nil deal where the player has to pay back a portion of the nil if the player makes it to the nfl?
