It's March.

. A lot of people want to say it's too early but with recruiting moved up now a lot of big names are coming off the board

But none of them sign until at least December.

4 of their top 5 aren't even from Ohio

I mean Gilbert and Ricks weren't from LA.

Wish LSU would've played y'all this past season. Would've skull fricked you and probably watch a lot of players lose draft stock due to getting exposed. Nice choke job against Clemson btw.

Even if you played 10 games you wouldn't beat that LSU team.

@OP maybe that's the difference. We have a NC and OSU does not? Maybe they evaluate too early? We're being selective making sure we don't run into the same mistakes we ran into last class? Make absolutely sure right now if you offer a guy and take his commitment he's the guy you want. Better than taking a guy early then realizing later he didn't really develop like you wanted so you have to tell them to take a hike?

Won’t be top 3. Prob top 5 again.
UGA is projected to get 5-6 five stars. Ohio St and Clemson will also be on top with all the top recruits committing.

So true, we had 3 of the top WRs in the country Jarrett #2, Burton #5, and Boutte #7. We thought thank God we got Jarrett and Burton because Boutte is flirting with Alabama. Burton is recruiting strong for us on social media and Jarrett says after Tennessee got beat by Ga St he’s all in on LSU. We still hope we can get Boutte but at least those top 2 are “solid.” Next thing you know Jarrett becomes a pain in the arse and is told to cya and Burton becomes sketchy and definitely receives a better “deal” to Georgia. Boutte leap frogs both of them, ends up Top 20 overall and never waivers once committed and will surely be the best of the bunch. After watching and digging and learning how to take this recruiting shite with a grain of salt, you have to be patient and remember Recruiting is the Bizarrow World.

We have a trophy! 15-0
Ohio St has the hype.

Compare the number five star recruits on Ohio St, Alabama, and Georgia to the number at LSU in 19.

Signed... A fan with confidence.

Ohio state is going to get popped for recruiting violations in the near future. Just watch. Clemson will as well.

So...the number 2 and 3 teams are excelling in recruiting while the record breaking #1 team is slow on the recruiting trail thus far. Makes sense. I know it's early yet, but you would think we would be picking up some steam

We may not finish top 5.

Clemson and Ohio State are already way out in front. If history is any indication, Georgia and Alabama will finish with higher ranked classes than us again.

That puts the ceiling at 5th.

Honestly LSU accepted too many early commits last year and when they had the season they had they had to pull some offers
Summer camp is where the main evaluations are now
Plus LSU missed a big jr day where they usually get some commits

Looks like there won't be a chance for summer camp evaluations. I'm not sure how the coaches will change their game plan, but I'm confident O will be prepared. It typically only takes 1 or 2 guys to commit and the dominoes will begin to fall our way.
