If y'all come across any updates of interest from twitter or anywhere else about LSU recruits, post them here. It'll save us from a million threads on every update.
@SonnyShipp-UA DB coach just mentioned Dieon Sanders when talking about 5* Tony Brown. #UAAllAmerican.
@sbterry247-#LSU #CrystalBall up to 43% and climbing for @247sports composite 5 star safety Jamal Adams.
Link on Jamal Adams, Tony Brown, and Malachi Dupre free247link
Lots of buzz Jamal Adams told LSU staff his intentions to head to Baton Rouge. As you know, there was buzz he did the same with UF earlier. Hope to make a final Crystal Ball prediction on him tonight. Currently CB'd to UF for me, but LSU is picking up predictions. -Luke Stampini

Same guy said Malachi was like Calvin Johnson
ETA - That guy is a former New Orleans HS coach, for what its worth.

They talk about how speedy is an athlete but might be behind the learning curve when it comes to coming out on his break as a wide receiver. With all of our pure wide receivers on the roster and addition of dupre do you think speedy will get lost on the roster just like RS10 was? Or are his hands a lot better than RS10?

Geaux Navy- Speedy is a better and more explosive athelete than RS was. And we have Cam Cameron to figure that out now. No offense to Stud but Cam is head and shoulders better.

Speedy doesn't have to be polished right away... In fact no one outside of maybe Quinn at wide receiver will look polished out of breaks. The dynamic athlete that speedy is, he will create space ala Percy Harvin... Just need a great offensive mind (cam Cameron) with a professional pedigree that can mold speedy into the right kind of weapon.
When I watch speedy I see a Percy Harvin-Reggie bush type of player.
Questions for me will always be, can he stay healthy, motivated and remain coachable?

I see speedy catching a lot of screens, taking hey sweeps, maybe getting some carries out of the shotgun. Etc.

They'll prolly dial up some packages for him but I doubt he'll be an every down player until his junior or senior year. We don't run the spread and that's how Percy harvin was able to do so well. I hope they use every ounce of his ability though.

Not to mention Adam Henry - one of the best wide receiver coaches in the country.
The way he has helped transformed the mindset of the LSU receivers is astonishing in it's own right - a group that had been an after thought for years, and had the fight taken to them totally flipped that around this season.
Even a guy like Boone had spurts (UGA) of looking much better than in previous years.

I know Malachi is special, but a HS player should never be compared to Megatron.

Jamal Adams is coming to LSU
Posted on 12/28/13 at 10:01 am to Iam_PrinceAkeem
It sure looks that way. Every pick for Adams' CB in the month of December has been to LSU.

Among those picks being sonny.

He was comparing them AT THE SAME STAGE IN "HIGH SCHOOL"
Posted on 12/28/13 at 10:08 am to Lsuismyfav
Lol I didn't wanna say it but yeah he was talking about potential. Of course no one thinks a high school kid is as good as CJ.

Hey guys, gatordmb posted on the Gator board that Jamal placed several calls to UF during the dead period, solidifying what he said earleirabout Jamal saying he was going to UF during his in-home with them. Any cause for concern?
Posted on 12/28/13 at 10:11 am to Mattwells90
Even at the same stage or trajectory as CJ, that's probably 99.9% hogwash. CJ wound up 6'5", 240 lbs and running a 4.29 forty.
According to 247, Dupre's numbers are:
Ht: 6-2.5 | Wt: 187 | 40: 4.58
