My God, people are idiots. Barkley hits a quick slant pass for like 7 yards that Brown turns into a TD and people are ready to anoint him a perfect QB? Kid is great, but let's see how he does over the whole game.

I think you are right...all Shep has to be is an average to above average passer with the ability to air it out a little and stretch the field...if he can do that he will be a defensive coordinator's nightmare to defend.

He is more of a drop- back guy, which is much better suited for the weaker, less complex Pac-10. While Shepard is spread offense guy, which is becoming a major offensive weapon in the SEC that defenses find hard to defend.

Let's keep in mind that these kids are not recruited all year to play in an all-star game offense. They are recruited to play in a certain scheme at a respective college. Nobody is expecting Shep to look like Peyton Manning in this game. Lighten up Francis.
