Yeah I mean you're right but I don't see him being one and done. Unless he sets the world on fire like everybody expects him to.

My bad. Thanks for the clarification.
That being said, makes the comments about the family and ND for life seem even more like he's being an attention whore. First, IN to be close to home, then LSU because he fell in love with the coaches and program and felt ND didn't fit him, to ND a few weeks later?

We just need to go ahead and get this thread stickied.

Ok guys.here's the situation as of now.I just hung up the phone with WWLs sports department,Kiel has not committed to Notre Dame.As far as they know he will still register at LSU. Straight from spoerts department.Take it for what it's worth.I was told that a source did talk to Miles himself. If they handed me a bunch of bs so be it, just telling you what I snooped around and found out.

If Kiel does go to Notre Dame does that give you hope that LC may follow suit?

I have no doubt that Kiel didn't tell Miles what was going on. Based on everything, it sounds like Kiel is going to ND and hasn't called Miles at all.

I have a cousin that works in admissions at LSU. She's part of whichever group actually sends out acceptance letters to potential incoming students. I have no idea if the admission dept at LSU is small enough that someone sending out admission letters would know who actually accepted admission/enrolled (I work at a small college where the 'you're accepted' people work side by side with the 'they enrolled' people...but it's a very small college that I work at, less than 2500 students). Still, I'm *almost* tempted enough to give her a buzz and see if she can give me enrollment data, either through her own resources or through her friend that works down the hall.
Then I remember that I'm an adult. Barely.

I don't know, the kid was very pro LSU all along
He never really waivered on LSU.
You could tell the excitement and relief the decision was over and done..
This whole thing may just be with his brother pulling out of IU ...the family seems pretty close.
I don't see them letting their son bailing on Les Miles without a phone call.
if so, then they aren't the people we thought they were

Open your eyes then. I'm sure Miles will get courtesy call tomorrow morning though.

If your kid was a hotshot stud QB and you had just seen what happened in the BCS CG, would you look around or not?
I could handle my kid not playing if the starter was better than he was. But Les has shown that he may or may not play the best player.
I would have my concerns about my son being able to earn the starting position if talent and ability were not the deciding factors for the coach.

Or he got a call, but isn't interested in filling us in.
