I’d think it just has to do with a couple of other possibilities like wanting more than one QB in a class and not putting all your eggs in one basket.
Probably says more about our current QB situation than anything else to be honest

I actually feel better about Sayin after the Florida win, he’s a better passer than JD but has some wheels, he’s still going to see Bama & Georgia but he likes LSU, CBK, and Sloan. He knows we got good WRs here and Good young ones coming.

Seems that in 2023 you should probably “offer” about 30 quarterbacks.
Then by June if 2024 you OFFER 5 of them.
