It's an RPO and inside zone blocking scheme. Not as important to have road graders like a prostyle offense so the big highly touted guys are not as important as a back or WR they can stretch the field horizontally and vertically.

Yeah that’s bullshite. We don’t play in the sun belt. A good OL is important in any scheme. The SEC will eat us alive.

I wonder if, with the right coaching staff, any of those guys would have progressed to SEC caliber starting OL?? Under the coaching staff we had, they actually regressed. It will be interesting to see how do at other schools.

All you will get is “relax”. It’s a big deal but these posters are worshipping LK right now. If we don’t land a QB or OL soon they will turn on him in a second.

We’re trying a new strategy, no OL next year

That's why we're trying to get a running QB with no broke feet.

Don't quote me, but my sources are saying that Lane is going to try something never done before in football. We're not going to have ANY OL on the roster. It's going to be a combo of WRs and DBs. The run game will consist mostly of variations to the ole "This is the wrong ball, Coach" trick play. Again, please don't shoot the sauce messenger.

Haha you’re the fricking retard that can’t use simple fricking logic that there’s obviously a plan. Looks like he’s building the offensive side of the ball outside in.

The real concern is somewhere in the middle. The sky isn’t falling but we also aren’t just fine. We need a few starter ready lineman and a handful for depth. Probably need 6-8 total. So some news soon would be encouraging

CLK opted to rush only three defensive lineman against us practically the entire game this year. And those three manhandled our five. Our five appear to have been processed out. He's well aware lol.

we have OL on roster already that can start.

Say what? Maybe some can "start", but can they "finish" their blocks?

I answered it. 24/7 had three of LSU’s OL ranked in the top 7. To sign from that list is a lateral move as best. People in the Rant want bodies the staff wants players. Staff has talked to agents for OL members not yet in the portal. Once they start popping it should go quick.
How many we sign i do not know.

Lane likes a very athletic OL….so in the Fall, the DL will play “iron man football”, and be the OL also

Moore was fine last year. Thomas would have played had he not got hurt. Davis started some. Miller may be a starter. We can’t be as bad as last year. Worst OL I have seen at LSU. Better coaching and game plans have a way of making all players better. We sucked arse on OL last year and most of guys were highly rated out of high school. Coaching was straight dogshit.

You think those five are good enough for the SEC. And, you know two or three are going to get hurt during the season (probably the 3 best with our luck) . We need at least 4 OL from the portal.
