Awesome. Could be our KBW replacement. Averaged 1.5 blocks last year.

Sounds like an exact replica of Kavell.

Exact.

Him, Watford, and a shooter and our team is set to make another great run at it next year.

From what i'm seeing, he would not be a grad transfer. He would have to sit out 1 season.

Brooks isn’t a graduate transfer, so he would have to sit one year to play one year. It honestly is an odd move that Brooks submitted his name to the Transfer Portal. He started all 35 games last year for the Bearcats, averaging 8.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. He was named Cincinnati’s Defensive Player of the Year. He’s already 22 years old, and would be 24 by the time he left college if he does in fact transfer.

Could he apply for a waiver with the coaching change?

I would assume he could, not sure if Wade would want to wait around to see if he would be eligible for next year.

Oh damn. Personally I think we need a guy who can be immediately eligible. A big man too.

Nysier Brooks

Moves really well, good rim protector and fills the lane well on the pick and roll. Not sure how good a post scorer he is, but he will definitely bring some skills to the table. I'm guessing he is a back-up plan for Sy. I'm starting to fell better about Watford, not so much for Sy and Quinones. IDK if Nysier will have to sit a season or not, but really need these guys to play. Wish I had some indication how Cooper has progressed. Cooper has the length and height to be a very good rim protector. From what film I have seen of him he just needed to get stronger.
