His name is John Odoh. He is a raw Nigerian that looks like a pretty good player. Supposedly had some bigger offers. He's signed with UNT in the fall, however. Probably not an option.

Thanks, I didn't see that he had signed. Did see he was honorable mention for his JUCO division. Guess there is always a shot he gets a release but won't be holding my breathe.

We probably stay the same or get worse in basketball.

You're knowledgeable here. With new staff and 3 Mississippi kids on the roster, is Devonta Pollard a possibility?

3 assistants, plus an admin.

Hopefully Shaq's son is better than Shaq's brother who played for us.

Shaq's son is like 13. We don't even need to be talking about him.

man it'd be nice if on Monday Jones says how much he loves LSU and can't wait to work and then says "oh yeah, we also signed Malik Morgan, Shane Hammink, Shavon Coleman, and Rico Gathers"

Would be sweet, let's get Shane here first haha I'm nervous about that one, we just don't really get to hear anything about him

There are several CBA players available, of differing talent levels. I don't have any info on LSU looking at any if them besides Shane.

I don't really have a good report on him but I do know that CBA is supposed to be the elite school in Europe, so I'm thinking he can probably play a little bit. Taken with a grain of salt bc he is a euro big and those guys are pretty sketch sometimes

This guy is a JUCO guy who signed with Nebraska. Originally from CBA. His entire juco team got kicked out of school for some unknown reason and he is working out at CBA this semester. Unknown eligibility and unknown if Nebraska is still in play with a new coach.
