Florida seems fitting. Follow in the footsteps of Aaron Hernandez.

Does he even have the grades to get into a D1 school? I assume he’s going to a JUCO

Why keep asking this question? we can't be sure anyone on this board knows anything for certain about Evans. He may be teaching Sunday School or reform school.

He is probably a loser. Weak head.

Zach’s story will unfold over the next 3-4 years, and if you keep paying attention to football, you will hear his story. He is a high profile player.

Just like we heard about Bryce Brown. Signed with Tennessee, was gone within a year. Went to Kansas St then left there after amazing 3 carries for 16 yards. Decided to enter the NFL draft(12') where he wasn't even invited to the combine. Bounced around in the league with 3 teams and was gone within 3 years.

Yep, that's just the story we will hear about Evans!

Reported to today that he is taking an official visit to Gators on 3/20.

Recruiting News on The Athletic

quote:

Five-star RB Zachary Evans to officially visit Florida Just when it seemed as if five-star running back Zachary Evans’ recruiting could be winding down, it took another turn. Late last week, Evans, the top unsigned player in the 2020 recruiting class, scheduled an official visit to Florida on March 20. It seems that if things go well, he’ll sign with the Gators. But with Evans, nothing has gone according to plan, so Gators fans should be cautiously optimistic as they wait to see how his visit to Gainesville goes.

while we may not want him, I sure as shite don't want to have to play against Florida with him in their backfield every year either. While his head may or may not be f'ed up, he is still about as talented a RB as there is. I guess we really are 100% out of the picture for him.

What about his grades, if he really? made a score as low as said on his ACT how will said school get him in, especially if he has 147yds & 3 TDs in the cocktail game in a win, Kirby saw his test scores surely

I don't think we'll play against him in the next couple of years.

He'll go Juco first.

If he commits anywhere in the SEC, let him commit to Tennessee.

No way this kid goes JUCO, too talented. After seeing guys like Pickens and Noel Devine make it in to schools when it was clear they we're non qualifiers I firmly believe if the talent is there some strings will be pulled.

I wonder how many times he's taken the ACT since he's graduated high school, just to become eligible to go to an FBS school?

You guys need to stop it. He has the grades and he can qualify to play D1 football. He will soon get his act together and be an outstanding running back for somebody. He has not had the best guidance through the recruiting process and has made some unpopular decisions. Many 17-18 year old kids have done that. He has been quiet since the All American game as he should. Just scratch him off of the LSU board and move on. Hopefully we won't face him too often on the field.
