Well...if that is true, then I'd like to know what the reason is.

Yeah, seems like they obviously have a few players rated higher than him and want to risk striking out on them first knowing they can probably come back and win him over.

Ol' Les just didn't get around to watching film of one of the top OL in the state of TX. Wonderful

GTF Off of Les. According to DP, Lsu wants to see Wilson against other elite talent in the Summer since Bishop Dunne doesn't play elite competition.

I get what you are saying but how much higher can they rate dome of these guys over him is the question I have? The kids tape is really good and he loves LSU. Seems like a perfect fit to me. Haha.

I think we all are at this point. I think everyone sees a kid with talent who loves LSU and after going through the last month want kids here who love LSU.

No more bullshite like Davis or PrimaDonnas like Collins. People are starting to be enamored with the kids who genuinely want to be here.

What does this even mean?

Not every recruit is going to fall in love with LSU immediately. It is the coaches job to sell the program to them.

Another tidbit in the Wilson Recruitment:

quote:

Bishop Dunne coach Michael Johnson got a call from Tigers coaches yesterday and said they reiterated their belief that Wilson is one of the two or three best offensive linemen in the country.

“They’re all really excited about him becoming a Tiger,” Johnson said.

WTF? They are convinced he's one of the best and he wants to play for LSU. Let's sew this shite up.

With that his recruitment became more and more confusing . Only thing I can think now is they are slow playing him in hope of landing some monster O-lineman but then I see who we have extended offers to and I again am just confused.

Maybe Miles really does need to watch all his film...

Although, I don't see how that is possible if all the coaches truly believe that.

"Hey Miles, check this Wilson kid out. He is definitely a top 3 OL in the entire country."

If they really thought so highly of him, what the hell is Miles doing? Definitely slow play. Not sure who LSU has rated higher than him but they better not blow this opportunity...

This honestly reminds me of the Christine Michael recruitment but that was late in the game this is early, just has the same feeling. Yea I don't think we have much of a shot at Tunsil either.

this reminds me of how we lost out on j. magee last year. a katrina guy who is a tremendous prospect.

how do you get invite to LSU jr. day if LM or the proper people have not reviewed your tape. we made at least 4 ol offers and so far its not clear that any of them are better than wilson.

If you haven't noticed our OOS recruiting is behind most of all the other schools besides A&M, Mizzou, and GA. It would be nice to get another proven recruiter back on the team like maybe Henson.
