You're right. To win 10 games in a year it's a requirement to have won at least 10 in a season recently before.
Poooor Ok States butt hurt towards A&M. When exactly did you guys replace OU with us as your most hated school? You've beat us a few times in a row. I'm not sure why the hate. Is it because when conference reallignment happens and A&M goes to the SEC you'll be left playing in a mid major conference? It's just not fair is it. Sorry, pokes. You offer a new conference nothing and not even Boone Pickens can change that

WE have no butthurt towards TAMU it's just funny that you guys finally had a decent season last year until you got sodomized by LSU and now you think you're gonna win 10 games easy and probably more as if it is automatic

Memphis Playa can't tell the difference between Louisiana recruits and Houston area recruits.
The reasons that made Fobbs come to LSU are the reasons that Addison chose Texas A&M.
These young men will stick with the Aggies.

Link the post I mentioned Fobbs or anything about LA. Go on, I'll wait. This thread just shows how new to recruiting some of you are. You act like you have nothing to worry about, when it's exact opposite. Go on though, live in your little fantasy. Reality will nip you in the arse come Feburary.

After Matt tore his ACL, a few teams did back off, BUT none of those teams were at the top of his list. Several teams jumped on him as well, hoping that more would quit recruiting him and they'd have a chance. However, the FEW schools that he was interested in, stayed in constanct contact with him during the season and during his rehab. His committment to A&M is extremely SOLID! He is not the type of person who would just throw out a verbal with the slightest intention of backing out. Again, his recruting "heating up" will be a non-factor, as he will be strictly focused on graduating at semester and getting KF deep into the playoffs.

I can not speak for the other 2 player's situations, since I do not now of theirs, but Matt was never affiliated with Lyles in any capacity. His parents and the KF coaching staff have been the ONLY people associated with his recruiting. Matt has not needed the services of anyone to help him get noticed by colleges. His sophmore season and spring ball leading into his junior year was the reason he was a top recruit.
As much as I'd love to see him change his committment, especially if it were to LSU, nobody should be surprised that he will be participating in spring ball next year in College Station.

You seem to defend matt davis quite often. Being a friend is one thing, but usually been friends don't know all that goes on in a players recruitment. I stick to my guns, Davis will rethink his commitment as are several current A&M commits ATM.

Memphis it's funny you think some of us might be new to recruiting when i'm willing to bet you're under 25 or didn't attend LSU at all
the same way LSU was a sleeping giant in the 90's, A&M has been in the 00's. It didn't take that much success for the recruits to jump back on board. We have a lot to sell. Tradition, academics, proximity to home.
And before you get your purple panties in a wad I'm not saying A&M is going to win 2 titles in the next 10 years

Just because A&M is actually starting to recruit (somehow), it's getting the A&M fans all hard. Exactly when was the last time A&M won a decent bowl game? Just sit down, and take your arse whuppins like a good little boy. It would be comical for A&M to even consider coming over to the SEC again.

Geaux, if he wants to refute it, by all means let him. He assumed something stupid (that the Ags on here have followed recruiting long) so I flipped it and assumed something unfounded back at him.
And I've been on this site for almost 2 years. I just didn't post as much until recently. Mainly because A&M wasn't recruiting Louisiana as much so there wasn't common recruits to talk about.
