How can you know this already?

I think the only thing that changes is that teams who were afraid to break the rules will be on the same footing as those who weren’t.

Those schools with the most wealthy boosters, who are also willing to commit money to paying for players, will come out way ahead under this new NIL system. It's now legal to pay players. Like it or not, its here.

We need to institute a 2 week minimum ban for every "NIL/transfer portal/(insert whatever else here) is ruining college football" thread on TD.

It's very similar to free market. There needs to be some checks and balances or things get out of control. The NCAA needs to get an outline of rules in place similar to the nfl when it comes to transfer deadlines and contact times. Definitely need to set rules for organization type and reporting for these boosters or it'll get more ridiculous from here. Everyone can get paid, damn sure enough money to go around. Just need to put parameters in for all involved

You arent wrong. Just saying when schools like A&M shell out $25-$30 mil on recruits each year. It will be the same 5-6 schools competing from now on. Very few schools will be able to compete for recruits like that

If they don't regulate or put some parameters in place, I agree with you 100%. Scholarships won't matter. You can sign 25 scholarships recruits and then have 10 4 and 5 star "walk-ons" who are getting NIL money from boosters that far outweigh the monetary value of a scholly. Be like Bama in the Bear Bryant days. He had over 100 players on his sideline. Some at Bama on swimming scholarships....just happened to play football too.

Again how is this different than what it has already been? The rich schools get the best players. That’s not a new concept.

The way Kim Mulkey can raise money I wonder how big an NIL war chest she's building up? Has any women's college team ever signed like five 5* in one class? I bet Mulke
