He is on the Rivals 250 List for 2010. He will probably be a 4-star on both sites very soon. Scout just hasn't gotten around to evaluating all of the juniors yet. They probably haven't even seen his film yet, so they list him as a 1-star.

alright thanks. I didnt know when scout and rivals gave out their stars. I was kind of wondering why we were all getting excited about jacobs and simon both committing because i noticed they were 1*'s. Not that stars really mean anything, but a lot of people on here dont care too much for the 1* guys

Yea, Jacobs is a filthy beast but he will most likely be a 4-star because it is very rare to have 5-star TEs for whatever reason. That being said, I do believe that Jacobs will in no doubt be one of the top 10 players at his position in the rankings next year and a solid 4-star player.
