We don't need E. Lacy or Trent Richardson or Bryce Brown because we will get Lache Seastrunk next year!

Well let's wait until Lache commits somewhere before spreading the pessimism. I don't think anyone expected him to commit in March of 2009.

All part of the larger "Get Hilliard" plan.

It's just hard to get so excited over Jr's. I really wish they wouldn't allow schools to offer Soph and Jr's. In five years SEC schools will be scouting peewee football games for prospects. It's just going to far and we talk about all these guys and get all pumped up and people switch commitments, change thier minds, coaches leave, players get hurt. I just think we should take it a year at a time and stop looking so damn far ahead.

Sorry, I felt like I had to get that out and now I feel better.

They don't.

Not for football. You can't contact them until their Junior year.

You can contact them/recruit them, you just can't offer them.

I thought you weren't allowed to contact them until they were juniors? Obviously if they come to camp or contact you, that's fine, but I thought there were rules against contacting sophs.

Just a comment about the 2 O-lineman (Collins and White). Nice for a RB to know these guys will be in front of him.

They already track middle school players. The LSU camp keeps track of year over year 40 time, height, weight, shuttle and high jump. You can see the coaches talking to the parents of the talented kids.

Along with all the other football camps, like FBU and O-D, players in the 7th and 8th grade start getting literature from schools, inviting them summer middle school camps.

I spoke with the LSU coaches this summer and they keep a database of the players progress, and send invitations to the ones they want to keep watching.
