All I know is that this board is going to crash when the next CB comes out for him. Either in a good way or a bad way

I still feel good about Surtain but from reading around and taking the hyperbole into account, I'm concerned and have my doubts.
From gathering in all of it this is my summary. Somebody of Bama, LSU, UGA and Miami are going to be very disappointed.
LSU-all about Surtain. Either we get him or Bama does imo but watch Miami
UGA-all about Campbell. The are losing confidence and though Miami is a possibility(more on that later), Bama seems to be the reason. They are trending hard.
Miami-they have both Surtain and Campbell coming in this weekend and will make their push to play together and for the home team. I doubt it works and feel their writers are the most hyperbolic. They have a history of leading on subscribers and think a lot of that is happening now.
Bama-The most puzzling but likely telling of them all. They have a huge board and honestly feel good to decent about them all. First, Eddie Smith is theirs. Next, they've turned away Isaac Taylor Stuart, a top 50 kid. They are a bigger player for the Griffin kid from CA than many thought as he appears torn between Bama and USC. Hes the wildcard.
Now to the kids that really matter to us, Surtain and Campbell. The talk the past couple of weeks is that they were against playing together. Now , Tim Watts of BOL is saying that may no longer, or never was, the case. Bama is trending hard for Campbell and really believe they may pull him. As for Surtain, they are quietly confident but not dismissive of the LSU connection. The word now(hyperbole?), is that there maybe some coyness going on with the Campbell and Surtain families and they may be setting the stage to continue as teammates at Bama or Miami(reason for the sudden great interest on the Surtains part).
Bama usually doesn't misdiagnose their board at the end and them shortening their board and dropping visits and offers to other dB's tells me they are gonna land 2 more. Which 2? Campbell,Surtain or Griffin?
I've learned that when Bama guys are showing some confidence, even if cautious confidence, be worried. Maybe this is the year they go empty but until it happens I wouldnt bet on it.

I'm really not worried about surtain Jr at all. I believe he is going to be a tiger. He has had us as his leader for 2 years now. He loves Louisiana and LSU. Just wait for wednesday. It will be a great day for the tigers and a huge ending to our class.

We were the leaders for Marvin Wilson last year for a long time and stuff happened near signing day to change his mind. I'm not saying that will happen with surtain, but don't rule anything out in recruiting. It worked in our favor last year with Jacob Phillips and K'lavon Chiasson.

Man, this is different. We have been his undisputed leader for 2 years now...and it still hasn't changed. Do you realize how easy it would be for surtain to simply state that "he has no clear leader in his recruitment now"? Very easily. He has maintained that LSU is his top school throughout. The relationships he has built with aranda, coach o, and corey raymond most of all, are so strong that it will take a miracle for him not to be a tiger. The surtain's are like family to this staff. Surtain is a special kid. He loves louistana and LSU. He even has stated that he sees Louisiana as his home state and lsu his home school, even with him growing up in florida. That oughta tell you something about him. And frick marvin wilson, not every kid is like him. I'm ready for wednesday. Gonna be a good day for the tigers.
