How do these services evaluate players and rate them as a 4 star then comeback and say they are not 4 star's they are actually 3 star's? I can understand rating a player higher as the kid grows and learns, but if you saw enough to rate a kid a 4 star what factors determine dropping them to a lesser rating? This just shows me these people evaluating players to begin with are idiots.

We’ll pass on him but we’ll take a better QB in Findley

I thought the general consensus here was LSU should not recruit dual threat QBs. In fact, in the past, in every post about a DT recruit, there were many vociferous naysayers railing against his recruitment. “ LSU should only recruit pocket passers. Remember JJ, Jennings, Harris, yada, yada, yada...”. Yet not one peep about dual threat King. Where is Semjackass complaining about “glorified running backs”?

TJ made all-tournament team at a big 7-on-7 event in Fl. No elite QBs there, but some who could go P5, so not all scrubs.

I also went back and watched highlights on YouTube from his game against Slidell this year, and he looked pretty good.

So I may have been too critical of him, as he seems to have improved some over the last 9+ months (which is all we can ask for). I still say Johnson is better than people on here think, but Finley is catching up to him.
King looks awesome though.

Prime example of why recruiting is somewhat overrated! High school football has been over for a couple of months! How does a kid drop 50 or 100 spots in one day? Many of these recruiting so-called experts never go out and see these players and know nothing about their back ground. College football is a billion dollar industry and most of these recruiting magazines base their rankings on trying to sell the most subscriptions! Bama has a huge, huge following and if you want to sell a lot of subscriptions, you pump up their recruits and watch the money start coming in!
