New name for LSU basketball: Rodney Howard just decommitted from Ole Miss

LSU already reached out to him. His former assistant high school coach Jeff Merritt is a Clemson alum and is friends with Will Wade and (I think) is LSU assistant Brian Merritt’s brother.
He’s a 6-10 center.
They also have another unsigned 6-10 center Dearon Tucker LSU is looking at.

Apparently he visited GT today as well.
Edited. Nevermind, answered my own question, it seems that he did decommit. Probably came in ligh of Sy's commitment to OM.

Has nothing to do with Watford. Not even same position. Howard and/or Tucker would be post depth.
LSU would like Watford, Howard and possibly a transfer or two. They have reached out to Jordan Brown of Nevada. Not looking real promising. He has everyone contacting, so that will be tough.
The immediate eligible players are nearly gone, unless some declare later. Getting an immediately eligible post player will be a difficult pull, but still possible. Looks like the best players left will have to sit out.
LSU is still eying a few juniors who could reclass, and juco freshmen who are eligible, like Cooper last year.

Well normally I don't even pay attention to down or upvotes. But I had just posted the comment and it got a quick down vote. For some reason it just made me laugh. I doubt the down voter even had time to read what my comment. And it was a thank you, so IDK I just found it really hilarious.

So if a player signs an LOI and he and the university mutually decline to honor the LOI that player is free to sign elsewhere without going through the transfer portal and sitting out a year? I mean, this is what I understand from that article.
